Traditionally, according to the charter, the regular Forum of “Enlight” Public Organization of Public Research Center took place on January 19. The latter is convened annually in the form of cooperative assembly of members and volunteers.

The forum started with the President of the organization Anna Khachian, which was followed by the speeches of the Statutory bodies.

The heads of separate departments as Ruzanna Hovhannisyan (Head of Public Relations and Marketing), Nune Matevosyan (Editors department), Anush Marutyan (Translators department) and Lilit Karapetyan, the Head of the Stuff, also made speeches.

The work of the previous year was summarized and the head of each department presented the work done in that department during a year.

“The best way to learn is to share experiences”– the Head of the Editors department, Nune Matevosyan, mentioned in her speech.

The main speakers of the forum were NGO President Anna Khachian and Vice President Davit Petrosyan. Members of the organizations also presented their plans and activities.

Collaboration with “BunTV” Science Foundation, the regular program episode of “Hartak”, university practice, courses, series of vocational orientation lectures at regional schools, archive program, translation of humanities literature, “GrEnlight” environmental program and other various initiatives. 2019 was a fruitful year for the organization.

In a year, the organization has published more than 150 articles, including translations of prominent periodicals and websites, analytical articles and infographics. Regular elections of the Statutory bodies were also held during the forum. The Board was approved in the composition of Lusine Hovhannisyan, Hakob Hakobya and Gor Madoyan. Nelly Zakaryan was elected as the Auditor of the organization and Nare Smbatyan as the Appellant.

Further plans and projects were discussed and clarified after the election. It’s important to highlight the fact that the conference was not only a summary and presentation of the work, but it also was accompanied by discussions and suggestions.

At the end of the conference, members and volunteers received letters of appreciation, certificates, as well as membership cards.
