As there are numerous comments to my publications that we should target the Azerbaijani civil population as well, I’d like to note straight away that this is out of the question. For one simple reason: we are not Turks, but we know how to defeat their terroristic army. Our rocket launches that hit the enemy’s military facilities in large cities are not yet subject to publication. If you want, we will publish a whole series after the war. I can only add that as a result, not only a significant number of reserve forces of the enemy were neutralized, but also, there are massive traffic jams in roadways to Baku for the past two days. P.S. Hope you don’t assume they are heading to the frontline.

Right after my previous Facebook post, the enemy started shelling the capital Stepanakert again. The Defense Army will give an adequate response in a matter of minutes, but by targeting peaceful civilians again, the enemy is making it clear that it can’t fight on the border, and this is a definitely verified fact.

According to the Artsakh Defense Army around afternoon the Azerbaijani Armed Forces launched a large-scale attack in the southern direction of the line of contact between Artsakh and Azerbaijan, throwing reserve forces, large amounts of military equipment, including tanks and artillery. The enemy ignores also the security of the territory of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Large scale enemy capabilities and assets are methodically and continuously being destroyed.

Armenia values the statement of the Foreign Ministers of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chair countries, in which the unprecedented massive targeting of the civilian population and infrastructure in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone has been condemned in the strongest terms as an unacceptable threat to the stability of the region. Armenia reiterates the need for an immediate cessation of hostilities, which the Foreign Ministry of Armenia has already underlined in its statement issued on October 2, 2020. We once again stress that there is no alternative to the peaceful settlement and the peace process, and any attempt to resolve the conflict by military means will be resolutely averted.

According to the information received from the Defense Forces of Artsakh, since this afternoon the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan, concentrating reserve forces and a large number of military equipment, including tanks and artillery, launched a large-scale attack towards the southern direction of the line of contact between Artsakh and Azerbaijan. These actions are taking place during the visit of the Foreign Minister of Turkey to Baku and hours after the statement of the Foreign Ministers of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs. The Defense Forces of Artsakh undertakes all the necessary measures to repel the attack. The military political leadership of Azerbaijan bears full responsibility for the consequences.
