Translation Pathway at Enlight | Career Opportunities in Education with Teach For Armenia – Event Summary
A few days ago, on March 30, the closing event of the university production internship program, organized by Enlight Public Research Center NGO in collaboration with Yerevan State University and V. Bryusov State University, took place at the Teach For Armenia office.
The event gathered student-interns, university representatives, members of the organization, and other guests.
During the meeting, the progress and outcomes of the internship were summarized. To recall, the internship was conducted remotely over a period of six weeks, during which students engaged in translation, editing, and analytical tasks — enhancing both their professional skills and personal competencies.
In addition, three professional development sessions were organized by the hosting organization, aimed at enriching the interns’ foundational knowledge and guiding their upcoming assignments.
As a result, participants produced 38 new translations, 15 editing assignments, and 24 analytical pieces.
Moreover, representatives from the host organization presented key aspects of Teach For Armenia’s work and shared opportunities for joining the organization, which you can explore through this link.
To conclude the event, participants tested their knowledge through a team-based translation game, recalling interesting facts related to the field and discovering new ones.
According to the students, the internship was “effective and multifaceted” and “greatly contributed to their professional growth.”
Recognizing the contributions and active participation of both the students and the organizers, the organization awarded them with certificates of completion and symbolic gifts.
We warmly thank all participants for their engagement and trust that new opportunities for collaboration in different formats are on the horizon.
