The enemy carried out several sabotage attacks in the direction of Shekher, Taghavard, and Zardarashen villages of the Martuni region during the day, but, thanks to the correct cooperation of the Defense Army and the militia forces, these groups have been repulsed, with losses of the labor force and military equipment. In other parts of the frontline, the enemy showed its aggression only by shelling our peaceful settlements and positions.

During the day, Azerbaijan kept the peaceful settlements of the Artsakh Republic under fire. The city of Martuni and the Tagavard community of the same region were shelled from the Grad and Smerch installations. In the afternoon, Martakert was bombed once again using military aircraft. There are no human losses; the destructions are being clarified.

The operation of the captured Azerbaijani soldier, who repulsed the enemy’s attack in the southern direction yesterday, was successful. He is now under the control of doctors and his condition is assessed as stable and severe.

During the night the situation in the Artsakh-Azerbaijani conflict zone remained relatively stable and tense. Artillery battles and skirmishes continued in separate areas. Currently, battles of local significance are taking place in all directions of frontline. Defense Army units successfully prevent enemy attacks, keeping the operative-tactical situation under control.
